Working abroad

Based on your registration in the Dutch Architects' Register, you can perform professional work in your discipline on an occasional and temporary basis in all EU member states, member states party to the EEA and in Switzerland

Attestation

The host country may require you to register yourself as a temporary service provider in that country. Additional requirements may not be imposed. The host country may require an attestation from the Register of Architects in which we declare that you are legally registered in the Architects' Register and are fully qualified to practice your discipline in the Netherlands. This may include a statement of your professional qualifications on the basis of which you are registered and a statement of any disciplinary measures imposed.

Many other countries also allow you to carry out assignments there on a temporary and occasional basis on the basis of your Dutch registration. Here too, you may be asked for an attestation from the Architects' Register showing that you are legally registered and fully qualified to practice your discipline professionally in the Netherlands.

Architect's Title
