On this page, we provide information for each discipline on which master's programs you can pursue to gain access to the respective title. After completing the master's program, you first undergo a two-year professional experience period, unless the completed program qualifies for an exemption. This is done while working at a firm, company, municipality, or other government entity.
The programs listed on this page are the current programs. De nadere regeling (NL) determines which Dutch programs qualify for registration in the architects' register. This regulation outlines the educational requirements. For older programs, we refer you to de Nadere Regeling.
To gain admission to the master's program, you often need to have completed a pre-education or bachelor's degree. In some cases, it is also possible to complete a transition year or pre-master after your bachelor's to gain admission to the master's program. It also happens that students start their path to the title at the vocational level (MBO), continue at the university of applied sciences (HBO), and then complete a university master's degree.
All information about the programs and admission requirements can be found on the websites of the respective educational institutions.
