Hilde Blank appointed new chair of the Committee End terms

We are delighted that Hilde Blank has agreed to take on the chairmanship of the Committee Endterms (Commissie Eindtermen). Hilde is an urban planner and director/owner of BVR Adviseurs Ruimtelijke Ontwikkeling in Rotterdam. She has extensive experience as a studio master, master builder, and supervisor, both for strategic future visions and for concrete area assignments. Due to her various management and advisory positions, she is well acquainted with the broad field of spatial designers.

Hilde succeeds Ton Venhoeven, who has been chair of the Committee Endterms since spring of 2025, with Peter Michiel Schaap as secretary. They have started with an initial broad exploration of the field. Due to personal circumstances, Ton Venhoeven unfortunately had to step down as chair at the end of 2025. He will remain available as a special committee member. We would like to thank Ton for his valuable contribution to date.

The committee's task is to develop an integrated vision for the future of professional training, including substantive advice on this subject and a concrete proposal for possible adjustments to the final attainment levels and criteria of the regulations arising from the Architect Title Act. At the beginning of 2026, the full final Committee Endterms will be appointed, which will consist of five members in addition to the chair and secretary.
