The Architects' Register can issue an attestation or certificate of registration to those registered if, for example, they wish to undertake a project abroad
Provision of an attestation
An attestation may contain the following components:
Confirmation of registration in the Dutch Register of Architects.
Confirmation that the diploma complies with EU Directive 2005/36/EC
Confirmation about disciplinary sanctions ('work history beyond reproach')
Confirmation about the professional experience period attended or not attended.
Even if someone is not registered in the Dutch Architects' Register but has a relevant Dutch diploma, the Architects' Register can issue an attestation. In this situation, the applicant should request an attestation and submit a certified copy of the Dutch diploma by mail.
